Today is May 29th and we are on a three day weekend from school, but guess what, school is almost out! We only have two and a half more days of school, TWO AND A HALF MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL! I'm so glad the year is over! Are you? It's been a long year. What are you going to do this summer? My family is planning a road trip to Zion National Park, with lots of stops along the way.
National parks remind me of a joke that ~T~ once told me. It goes like this:
Q: What's the best vacation spot for noisy kids?
A: Yell-owstone Park.
Get it? Ha ha ha!
I hope you all can go on a trip, because trips are awesome in the Summer. You can go swimming, hiking, sightseeing, and a whole bunch of other stuff. And road trips remind me of another joke that ~T~ told me.
Q: What's the hardest part of a trip?
A: Hitting the road!
Get it? Ha ha ha!

Hello! In December I went on a trip to Big Bend. It was lots of fun. I went on a looonnng hike, called "The Window Trail". There were lots of clouds. On the way back, me and my mom saw a deer. When we were going and leaving, we saw lots of javelinas. I had a fun time there.
Big Bend is in the southwest of Texas. It is a desert there. In deserts there are lots of cacti. My favorite cactus is the century plant. We saw a really big one on the way to the Window. They can live to be 100 years old. We also saw blind prickly pears. They call them "blind" because they can make cattle go blind with their tiny spines that can blow in the wind.
We also did some park ranger stuff. I got to learn about rattlesnakes, plants and animals, and geology. That was sooo cool. Ranger Sarah told about plants and animals. Ranger Christina told about rattlesnakes. Ranger Amanda told about geology. Me and K went to a ranger thing to become an official Junior Ranger. I also got a badge and a certificate and a fun book. That was really cool.
I hope to go to Big Bend some other time!

Duck soccer is a game. The ducks stay in the pond. You play soccer and the goal is the pond. The hard part is not to hit the ducks. It's kinda like golf...don't hit the fish! My team has 12 people. You have to be 10 or under to play. You can wear whatever you want.

I have such an awesome teacher. She is Mrs. T. She loves to have fun with me and my friends. She likes us to get a letter for our class from the cafeteria. A letter for our class is for our popsicle or ice cream or cream shakes or any candy. She makes us smile and laugh all day long. Sometimes we are so quiet on the quiet game at lunch we earn three or two letters. The way Mrs. T wants us to be when we grow up...is to have fun! I love Mrs. T. She is so awesome!

Once upon a time, we had fish. A year later we called our uncle to see if they wanted to keep the fish. So the day came by and me and my sister were playing upstairs with our friend and then the doorbell rang. We did not know who it was, so we hid in my room. When the door opened, I heard my cousin's voice saying "Hi!" to my mom and dad. First they took the fish out and after that they took the water out. It took a long time to get the whole fish tank down, but now that it's all gone it does not look the same as it used to be with all the fish. [that was a true story]

One night I lost my fifth tooth. When it was still there it was gray. Me and my mom kept being worried but finally that night I took my tooth out. I feel weird, really weird. It's hard to be comfortable with five teeth that you lose. If you people have not lost a tooth it will not hurt one bit after you take it out.

Today I put my arctic fox in my webkinz game. It was so much fun, but all the other webkinz were sick. I took one of them (one of my puppy webkinz) to the doctor and got some medicine for her. She felt a little bit better, now she is in bed. My hippo webkinz is still sick and she's still in bed. So is my other puppy dog webkinz. Also, I am sick like the three of my other webkinz.
My acorns haven't grown yet. I hope they grow soon. I'm still watching them. I want them to grow so bad.
